ADENTICS supports „Die Arche“
Anyone who follows ADENTICS knows that we do much more than just straighten teeth 😊
In addition to our ADENTICS green campaign for more sustainability introduced in 2020 (see also http://www.adentics.de/adentics.../adentics-green.html ) and the various sponsorships of local youth sports over the years, ADENTICS has been embarking on a new chapter in the area of social commitment since September of this year.
In our search for further meaningful support, we became aware of the children's aid project "Die Arche".
In the fight against child poverty in Germany, "Die Arche" Kinderstiftung is particularly committed to helping children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The association was founded in 1995 in Berlin-Hellersdorf on the initiative of Pastor Bernd Siggelkow. There are now 32 locations nationwide, reaching over 6,000 children and young people. There are also additional contact points in Switzerland and Poland. The Ark's work with children, young people and families comprises six basic building blocks: LEISURE - meaningful leisure activities, FOOD - free meals, LEARNING - effective educational support, FRIENDS - sustainable relationship work, HOLIDAYS - exciting vacation camps, FAMILY - help and advice for parents.
We are delighted that we will be able to support The Ark with our regular monthly donation in the long term and wish the project continued success with its measures to achieve its goals: The Ark sees it as our responsibility to draw public attention to social ills in our society and to campaign on a broad scale for lasting improvements in the living conditions of disadvantaged children and families in our country.
